Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. She spent most of her youth listening to classical music, boleros from the past, classic ranchero or romantic tunes, as well classic classical music. Ana is an avid fan of tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas as well as any theatrical performance. Following her singing lessons with mom, she started more serious singing lessons at the age of 16 under the guidance of renown Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. She studied in Guadalajara at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara before moving on to Toluca in the School of Sacred Music. When she was a student, as well when she was a professional young at the time in Mexico City and Guadalajara she performed with various chamber groups as well as choruses. Following her move to America, United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002 she moved to southern California. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and is a performer of Latin American traditional music solo at many private events. Alongside being an active performer as well as an instructor, her love of music and art keeps her involved in a range of initiatives. Ana is also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for being able to share her love and love for traditional Latin American songs with others as she hopes to impart a desire particularly among the younger generation, to help keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
