Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson - born Jacqueline Luesby to Chris Watson and Jacqueline Luesby, two British lawyers - was born on July 8, 1989 in Paris. When she was just five years old when she left for Oxfordshire and attended an Oxfordshire-based Dragon School. Emma chose to be an actor by the age of six. For several years she was enrolled in the Oxford Branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts part-time school. In the school, she was taught singing, dancing and acting. At the age of 10, Emma had taken part in numerous Stagecoach productions and plays. In 1999 casting began in the production of Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2001) the film adaptation of British author J.K. Rowling's bestselling novel. They were cast as three leads Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. Emma's first film on the screen was Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone that was released in the year 2001.
